Low Levels of Vitamin D Associated with Heart Risk

Recent studies show that those with low levels of Vitamin D have increased cardiovascular health risks.

After ten years, the Health Professionals Follow Up Study published in the June issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine, showed a relationship between insufficient levels of Vitamin D and risk of heart attack compared with those with sufficient levels.

This information shows that Vitamin D deficiency may jeopardize cardiovascular health.

Is obtaining adequate vitamin intake just as important to our heart health as our general health?
