Res-Q 1250, Omega-3, is good for a weight loss program

Some people on low-fat diets, or I should call the diets, no-fat diets, have inquired about fat grams in Res-Q 1250, concerned that Res-Q 1250 will make them gain weight. However, omega-3 fatty acids actually do the opposite. In fact, we need more of the good omega-3 type fats in our diet. We may be consuming more than the daily recommended amount of fat. However, we need some fat every day in our diet, and some of this fat should be omega-3, preferably from fish oil supplements, the best way to ensure omega-3 intake every day. The type of fat consumed is very important to weight loss. A lack of the essential omega 3 fatty acids, can trigger the body into storing fat. Furthermore, in a randomized controlled trial study, when omega-3 fatty acids were given to women following a fixed weight loss regimen, the women in the omega-3 group experienced a decrease in weight, and body mass. So although 2.8 grams of omega-3 fat was added to the diet plan, the additional fat grams did not make the women gain weight. In fact, the women who added omega-3 to their low calorie diet, actually lost more weight, and decreased their hip size. The type of fat consumed can affect weight loss. If you are following a healthy low calorie plan, taking Res-Q 1250, can only benefit you, and support your weight loss program. Although Res-Q 1250 is a fat, it is a good fat that provides the proper balance of fatty acids for cardiovascular health. If your primary interest is weight loss, try our weight loss product, Res-Q TrimSystem.

I'm thinking of using 1250 as a replacement dietary oil. Is there any comparison nutritional info available for 1250 and common oils like olive or other cooking oils? Is 1250 heat-stable enough for cooking or baking? Any suggestions for recipe adjustments if I use 1250 instead? Know of a good vinaigrete recipe using 1250?

Res-Q 1205 Liquid is available in a natural lemon flavor. This oil has been used as a salad dressing replacement for oil. The other flavor has sweetners and is a citrus flavor which to me tastes like an orange-tangerine citrus flavor which may be too sweet for a salad dressing, but many customers have used the oil in Res-Q 1250 Liquid with original lemon flavor on thier salad dressing. For health benefits, you should use 2-3 teaspoons daily, - it is fairly potent, and can be mixed with food if you prefer. I would measure it to make sure. The all natural Res-Q 1250 original lemon flavor oil may be addded as a dressing to fish and baked, but you MAY NOT fry with it. It is NOT a frying oil. Heating in a pan, would cause you to loose the health benefits of the omega-3 oil. I will look for our recipies, and see if I can post them here. 2-3 teaspoons daily should be used each day. By taking the omega-3 oil, every day, you will help correct the proper balance of fats, which are out of balance from the excess from vegetable oils.

Gary, I am posting a recipe here for you:

Balsamic Vinaigrette: Makes 4-6 salads or more. If used daily, do not use more than aprox. 5 teaspoons daily, or 2 tablespoons daily. Most people use just 2-3 teaspoons or 1 tablespoon of Res-Q 1250 Liquid every day.

1/2 Cup Res-Q 1250 Liquid with original all natural lemon flavor

1 cup Balsamic Vinegar

1 and 1/2 teaspoons granulated roasted garlic

1/3 cup honey

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

sea salt and pepper to taste.
