Complete Heart Health Part II: HDL & Heart Health

Healthy Arteries: the role of good cholesterol, HDL, in arterial health.

The Res-Q product line offers a more complete approach to total cardiovascular health. Looking at multiple factors offers more ways to help maintain healthy arteries.

Do you know your “good cholesterol” number, called HDL? According to The National Institute of Health, “an HDL level less than 40mg is …a major risk factor…” and “the higher, the better.” HDL “picks up” cholesterol in the bloodstream and disposes of it. Having more of it, having a higher number, is a good thing because the good HDL cholesterol helps promote healthy arteries by trying to keep the LDL cholesterol from “building up in the walls of the arteries.”

Although regular exercise helps raise HDL, please first consult your doctor for advice, before attempting an exercise program on your own.

Niacin, (nicotinic acid), has been shown in clinical studies to increase HDL.

Res-Q HDL+, a unique, natural, No-Flush Niacin, is the best form of niacin. Our customers have had health benefits from just 2 capsules per day, one capsule in the AM, and one capsule in the PM. Some doctors recommend more.

Use Res-Q HDL+, with Res-Q 1250, our pure, potent omega-3; omega-3’s and HDL encourage healthy, flexible, elastic arteries, very important when maintaining cholesterol levels that are within the normal range.

Res-Q 1250 is available in capsules or liquid.
