Res-Q CellPower, Antioxidants, and Heart Health

Res-Q CellPower provides a unique combination of powerful antioxidants, such as astaxanthin, Co-Q10, Lycopene, Lutein, and Selenium, and the highly stable antioxidant fat soluble form of Vitamin C, known as ascorbyl palmitate. These antioxidants are added to salmon oil, which serves as a base for the ingredients.

As suggested by name Res-Q CellPower, Res-Q CellPower promotes cell health, and helps maintain healthy cells by neutralizing free radicals. Excessive amounts of free radicals, as is the case from smoking and pollution, may cause harm to healthy cells. Antioxidants promote cell health by neutralizing free radicals. Antioxidants are important to the health of the cells in our body, and everyone needs antioxidants for health balance. Co-Q10 is also utilized for energy production within the "power-plant" of the cell.

Antioxidants also help maintain healthy arteries, and are important to those on a cholesterol control program, or anyone interested in heart health. Healthy arteries are the means of supplying blood flow to the heart, and keeping arteries in their already healthy condition is so important to continual heart health care.

Are you taking a statin medication for cholesterol?

If so, you should be taking an omega-3 supplement.

A randomized placebo controlled clinical study revealed when 4 grams of omega-3 EPA/DHA was added to statin drug therapy, the triglycerides were reduced by almost 30%!

Obviously statin drugs are not enough. Adding beneficial nutrients to a statin drug improves the outcome.

Taking omega-3 EPA and DHA did not raise the LDL cholesterol, and it is interesting to note that after 8 weeks of supplement use, the LDL particle size was larger in the group taking omega-3. It is thought that the size of cholesterol (the size of the LDL), may be important to know, just like the amount of cholesterol, the cholesterol number (Example: LDL, non-HDL, and Total Cholesterol). A larger cholesterol size may be less likely to harm the arteries, then a smaller cholesterol size.

Additionally, the non-HDL cholesterol number was lower in the group taking 4 grams of EPA and DHA plus statins, versus the group taking statins plus placebo.

Res-Q 1250 is an omega-3 EPA and DHA supplement specifically formulated to provide the proper balance of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) for optimal cardiovascular health.

Res-Q 1250 promotes:
Healthy Arteries
HealthyTriglyceride Levels. The triglyceride number affects the total cholesterol number.
Reduced production of inflammatory compounds that affect inflammation levels.

Res-Q 1250 also:

Helps maintain cholesterol levels that are within a normal range
Supports Heart Rhythm and Circulation

Anyone seeking to maintain a healthy cholesterol level, may improve their total heart health by taking Res-Q 1250. Heart health is the main reason we watch our cholesterol levels.

Resveratrol helps keep the heart young.

The effects of aging on the heart can lead to death.

Everyone ages.

However, one known method of counteracting the body's process of aging, is calorie restriction. Resveratrol has been shown in studies to produce the same anti-aging effects in the body as calorie restriction. When a diet containing resveratrol was compared to a calorie restricted diet, similar changes were observed. Therefore, resveratrol promotes longevity, encouraging a longer life span and good health by producing the same beneficial effects on aging as calorie restriction. Researchers studied the age inhibiting effects of resveratrol and noticed that resveratrol affected several of the same genes also affected by calorie restriction. Hundreds of genes were affected by resveratrol. Resveratrol promotes longevity by its ability to affect gene expression, and reproduce changes similar to the changes that occur from calorie restriction, a well known method of reducing aging.

Resveratrol has been shown in a recently released study to inhibit the effects of aging on the heart, helping to maintain a healthy heart function. Since heart health is most important with respect to living a long healthy life, natural ingredients that would help play a role in keeping the heart young, fighting the toll that age takes on the heart, would be fundamental to achieving a longer mortality, and staying in good health.

The recent new study demonstrates that beneficial effects may result from a dosage attainable from a resveratrol supplement. Previously, very large doses were used, which led to questions regarding what dosage was needed. The amounts of resveratrol used in studies that demonstrate the health benefits of resveratrol are not attainable from diet. Only from a resveratrol extract, can you obtain a concentrated amount of this natural phytochemical found in red grape skins, and red wine. It would take anywhere from 50-100 or even more glasses of red wine to equal the amount of resveratrol found in Res-Q Resveratrol, Red Wine Extract

The anti-aging industry is so excited about the results of the resveratrol studies! The news gives us hope. However, there is no need to rush around trying to duplicate the same effects as resveratrol, go looking for it, or try to re-invent the wheel. Resveratrol is already available in supplement form by Res-Q. Resveratrol tops the list with regard to scientific breakthrough discoveries on anti-aging potential, and the ability to live longer and stay healthier. The secret to anti-aging is inside the body: it starts from the inside out.

Resveratrol shown in new study to reduce the number of fat cells.

Recent news reports on a new study on resveratrol, an active beneficial phytochemical, found in red grape skins and red wine.

We are already aware of the effects of resveratrol on cells which encourage an anti-aging effect in the body encouraging a longer life span. Resveratrol duplicates the same anti-aging results induced by a low calorie diet, yet without having to eat a low calorie diet.

Researchers attribute this same mechanism to have an effect on fat cells, and conducted a study to verify that.

In a recent experiment, when fat cells were exposed to resveratrol, there were less fat cells compared to fat cells that were not exposed to resveratrol. This finding suggests a possible further benefit for those who are overweight and have more fat cells. This report suggests that resveratrol may inhibit the number and size of fat cells. The findings from the new study were reported this summer at The Endocrine Society's 90th annual meeting in San Francisco.

Since the amount of resveratrol naturally occurring in red grape skins, and red wine is truly too small to have a beneficial effect of this nature, the best way to obtain resveratrol naturally, would be to consume a resveratrol extract supplement, like Res-Q Resveratrol, thereby delivering an amount much more potent and effective. You would have to drink 50-100 or more glasses of wine to get the amount of resveratrol found in Res-Q Resveratrol, Red Wine Extract Supplement. Obtain the beneficial aspects of resveratrol, a natural component of red wine, without the side effects of alcohol, and in a more potent supplement form to fully benefit your health.

Can I take Res-Q 1250 if I have high blood pressure?

Lots of our customers with high blood pressure take Res-Q 1250, and have reported beneficial cardiovascular effects. We recommend that you review all supplements with your physician prior to use, and continue to work with your doctor on a treatment plan for high blood pressure. Hypertension is High Blood Pressure, and blood pressure is defined as: "The pressure exerted by the blood against the walls of the blood vessels, especially the arteries. It varies with the strength of the heartbeat, the elasticity of the arterial walls, the volume and viscosity of the blood, and a person's health, age, and physical condition."

Res-Q 1250 is very good for both the heart muscle, and the cardiovascular system. When the cardiovascular system is working better, the whole body is working better. Res-Q 1250 supports a healthy heart function, encourages blood flow to the heart, and helps keep healthy arteries healthy and elastic.

Since we sell natural products, we are limited with product claims such as high blood pressure which requires medical treatment by a doctor. Therefore, we do encourage that everyone read and educate themselves on the subject matter by reviewing the clinical studies on natural ingredients that have been published in medical journals. Below are some links to scientific abstracts that have been published in the medical journal Hypertension, which support the evidence behind Res-Q 1250, a highly effective, supplement derived from fish oil, and the ability of the active ingredients found in Res-Q 1250 to promote heart function. You may want to share these study summaries with your doctor.

Blood pressure response to fish oil supplementation: metaregression analysis of randomized trials

A low-sodium diet supplemented with fish oil lowers blood pressure in the elderly

You will find the above links very informative. Taking Res-Q 1250 would be very good to your overall cardiovascular health.

More and more people are now taking fish oils. Not just any fish oil will work. The oil needs to contain sufficient amounts of EPA and DHA, the beneficial metabolite that the body needs from the fish oils. The oil should also be purified with a molecular distillation process to ensure harmful products from fish have been removed, while maintaining the active omega-3 fatty acid content. Res-Q 1250 meets strict standards for safety set forth by the industry, and is an effective product.
